The NBT EVO ID5 (Next Big Thing Evolution), here we can easily activate CarPlay via USB or E-Net Cable. Here we access the unit via the OBD interface and install the activation. All features are the same as if they were originally activated by the dealer.

The MMI is fully integrated into the vehicle communication system, while the functionality of the iDrive controller and rearview camera remain fully intact.
Advantages of our MMI compared to competitors:

DAC audio data is retrieved via the vehicle's BUS system, therefore no loss of analog audio signal and no cable to pull to the AUX port

CNC milled aluminum housing for better heat dissipation, therefore no restarts or similar when operating in a heated car

The MMI is started via the vehicle's wake-up message for the head unit, preventing the battery from draining. This also means the MMI starts booting as soon as the car is unlocked and is immediately ready for use.
